Spring rain applauds outside my window sharing its sorrow sticking to trees like honey twisting the garden into a green ocean revealing a dance of words falling like dandruff
I live in Sequim, Washington. I write creative nonfiction and poetry. My work has appeared in The Sun, Hipmama, Mamaphonic, Poetry Magazine, TallGrass Writers Anthology, Poets Against War, Poetry Motel, and other anthologies and publications. I am a former reporter who teaches workshops on poetry and memoir and have been known, on occasion, to edit things for others. I am the mother of six sons and hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
